The Cathedral is just outside the Old City limits. It is called La Seu and was built on the site of what was originally a mosque. It has a lengthy construction history, with its building having started in 1229. It was not finished until 1601. A local architect, Antoni Gaudi hired to restore the Cathedral in 1901.
